Sebi Warns Dabur India Over Delayed Disclosure of USFDA Warning Letter

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has issued a warning to Dabur India for its delay in disclosing a warning letter received from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) in July. The market regulator emphasized that such non-compliance is viewed seriously and advised the company's board to exercise caution to prevent future lapses. Sebi indicated that any repetition of this violation would lead to enforcement actions. Dabur India stated that the Sebi warning has no impact on its financial operations or other business activities.

भारतीय प्रतिभूति और विनिमय बोर्ड (सेबी) ने डाबर इंडिया को जुलाई में यूएस फूड एंड ड्रग एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (USFDA) से प्राप्त चेतावनी पत्र का खुलासा करने में देरी के लिए चेतावनी जारी की है। बाजार नियामक ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि ऐसे गैर-अनुपालन को गंभीरता से लिया जाता है और भविष्य में ऐसी चूक को रोकने के लिए कंपनी के बोर्ड को सावधानी बरतने की सलाह दी है। सेबी ने संकेत दिया कि इस उल्लंघन को दोहराने पर प्रवर्तन कार्रवाई की जाएगी। डाबर इंडिया ने कहा कि सेबी की चेतावनी का उसके वित्तीय संचालन या अन्य व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है।
