Jharkhand Students Protest Principal's Suspension, Demand Reinstatement

Around 500 students at CD Plus 2 School in Jhumri Telaiya, Jharkhand, protested the suspension of principal Shashi Bhushan Singh on Wednesday. Students gathered on the school playground, terming the suspension "unjust" and demanding its revocation. They stated that the school had seen all-round development and improvement in educational standards under Singh's leadership. The district education officer cited charges of violating departmental orders and inciting students as reasons for the suspension, with an FIR lodged against the principal.

झारखंड के झुमरी तलैया स्थित सीडी प्लस 2 स्कूल में बुधवार को करीब 500 छात्रों ने प्रिंसिपल शशि भूषण सिंह के निलंबन के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन किया। छात्रों ने स्कूल के खेल के मैदान में इकट्ठा होकर निलंबन को "अन्यायपूर्ण" बताया और इसे रद्द करने की मांग की। उन्होंने कहा कि सिंह के नेतृत्व में स्कूल ने सर्वांगीण विकास और शैक्षणिक मानकों में सुधार देखा है। जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी ने निलंबन के कारणों के रूप में विभागीय आदेशों के उल्लंघन और छात्रों को उकसाने का आरोप लगाया, साथ ही प्रिंसिपल के खिलाफ FIR भी दर्ज की गई है।
