India's Test Veterans Decline BCCI Selector Role Amidst Search

NDTV Sports · sports

Several former Indian cricketers who have played close to 100 Test matches have reportedly rejected an offer from the BCCI to become a selector. The BCCI has been actively searching for a replacement for Ajit Agarkar, whose tenure as chief selector concluded earlier this month. This rejection by experienced players highlights potential challenges in filling crucial roles within the Indian cricket administration. The board now faces the task of finding suitable candidates who are willing to take on the responsibilities of selection.
