Opposition Questions Election Commission Over Software Changes

महाराष्ट्र के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी एस. चोक्कलिंगम द्वारा चुनाव सॉफ्टवेयर में बदलाव की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए एक पत्र लिखने के बाद विपक्ष चुनाव आयोग (ECI) से सवाल कर रहा है। यूबीटी प्रवक्ता आनंद दुबे ने इस पत्र का हवाला देते हुए ECI से चुनाव प्रक्रिया में कथित अनियमितताओं के बारे में चिंताओं को दूर करने का आग्रह किया। दुबे ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि ECI के अपने अधिकारी भी संशोधन की मांग कर रहे हैं, और सवाल किया कि इन मांगों को क्यों नजरअंदाज किया जा रहा है। यह विवाद Supreme Court तक भी पहुंच गया है, जो अगले सप्ताह ECI की संरचना और निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रियाओं से संबंधित एक याचिका पर सुनवाई करेगा।
