India's real estate market saw a record $9.5 billion in equity capital during the July-September quarter of 2026, more than double the investment from the same period last year. Foreign and institutional investors significantly increased their exposure, with U.S. investors contributing 90% of foreign capital. Data centres, office assets, and land saw substantial investment, reflecting a deepening and diversifying market. This surge brings the year-to-date investment to $18.6 billion, surpassing the entire previous year's total.
