Bengal Tourism Receives Rs 12,534 Crore Investment Proposals

West Bengal's tourism sector has attracted investment proposals totaling Rs 12,534 crore from 37 investors. The Ambuja Neotia Group proposed the highest investment of Rs 3,015 crore for luxury urban and business projects. Other significant proposals include Rs 915 crore for tea tourism and hill resorts by Arya Tea Co Ltd, and Rs 800 crore for heritage, wellness, and eco-tourism by Sree Balaji Group. These investments are expected to create over 21,800 direct jobs across various regions of the state.
