Shiv Sena has kept the BJP guessing regarding support for its Pune Graduates' Constituency candidate, Smita Jadhav. Minister Shambhuraj Desai stated that resentment among grassroots workers over recent political developments in Satara district must be addressed before formal support can be declared. Jadhav met Desai, who indicated that senior leadership intervention is needed to resolve these internal concerns. This uncertainty is significant as Sena has already backed an Independent candidate against the BJP in the Teachers' Constituency election.

शिवसेना ने बीजेपी को उसके पुणे स्नातक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की उम्मीदवार, स्मिता जाधव के समर्थन को लेकर अनिश्चितता में रखा है। मंत्री शंभूराज देसाई ने कहा कि सतारा जिले में हालिया राजनीतिक घटनाक्रमों को लेकर जमीनी कार्यकर्ताओं में नाराजगी को दूर करना होगा, तभी औपचारिक समर्थन की घोषणा की जा सकती है। जाधव ने देसाई से मुलाकात की, जिन्होंने संकेत दिया कि इन आंतरिक चिंताओं को दूर करने के लिए वरिष्ठ नेतृत्व के हस्तक्षेप की आवश्यकता है। यह अनिश्चितता महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि सेना पहले ही शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के चुनाव में बीजेपी के खिलाफ एक निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार का समर्थन कर चुकी है।
