Central University of Kerala Students End Protest After Proctor Excluded From Inquiry

Students at the Central University of Kerala have temporarily called off their protest after discussions with the university Registrar on October 9. The students were protesting the suspension of five individuals who demonstrated during a national seminar. They demanded the proctor's exclusion from the inquiry committee investigating their grievances, a demand the university has now agreed to. Student representatives are seeking an appointment with the Vice-Chancellor on October 12 to discuss the suspensions and other related issues, with a delegation expected to meet him.
