News18 Hindi · india

Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar personally inspected the Ramlila Maidan, the venue for the INDIA alliance's upcoming rally against the Election Commission. The visit, unusual before opposition events, raises questions about potential security concerns or planned actions beyond the rally. The alliance plans a march from Minto Road to Ramlila Maidan, for which separate permission was not sought. Authorities are deploying extensive security, including thousands of personnel and advanced surveillance, to manage the anticipated crowd of 50,000 people.
