CM orders action on delayed child rape case

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has directed Chennai police to take action against officials responsible for suppressing or delaying the child rape case against granite baron R Veeramani. An IG-rank officer has been assigned to examine the case from its registration. Investigators are probing financial transactions, including a ₹90 crore property sale, and claims of money being transferred to influence the case.
