Canadian police have arrested five Indian nationals in connection with an alleged extortion and violence case. One of the accused, 23-year-old Sanket Singla, was lured from India to Canada and apprehended at Toronto airport on October 1. The investigation, initiated in June 2025, targeted an auto dealership in Langley, British Columbia, which had been subjected to arson and shootings. Authorities seized firearms, ammunition, and illicit substances, with evidence suggesting possible involvement of other suspects in similar crimes across British Columbia and Alberta.
