Business Standard · india

Indian Air Force Chief Air Marshal AP Singh has highlighted that the PLA Air Force faces operational constraints due to the Tibetan plateau. He emphasized the need for a phased, India-specific theatreisation plan, advocating for centralized control coupled with decentralized execution to maintain air power's flexibility. This strategic approach is crucial for safeguarding India's interests in an era of multi-domain warfare, encompassing space, cyber, land, sea, and air. The integrated theatre commands are seen as essential for future conflict preparedness.
