History-Sheeter Hacked To Death By Gang

A 25-year-old history-sheeter, Muthu Veera, was hacked to death by a six-member gang at a petrol station in Chengalpet on Tuesday. He was returning home after appearing in court for a murder case and was out on bail. The assailants, arriving on two motorcycles, chased away his friends before attacking him with sickles. Police are investigating the incident, suspecting previous enmity, and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the attackers.

चेन्नई के चेंगलपट्टू में मंगलवार को एक पेट्रोल पंप पर 25 साल के हिस्ट्री-शीटर मुथु वीरा की छह लोगों के गैंग ने हत्या कर दी। वह हत्या के मामले में कोर्ट में पेशी के बाद घर लौट रहा था और जमानत पर था। दो बाइकों पर आए हमलावरों ने उसके दोस्तों को भगा दिया और फिर दरांती से उस पर हमला कर दिया। पुलिस पुरानी रंजिश का शक जता रही है और हमलावरों की पहचान के लिए CCTV फुटेज खंगाल रही है।
