Delhi Maps Pollution Hotspots, Sets Road Work Deadline

Delhi government is intensifying its fight against air pollution by directing district administrations to map pollution hotspots and identify sources within a three-kilometre radius. Agencies will be assigned specific corrective measures and deadlines. Pending road and civil works must be completed by October 31, wherever feasible. Tighter action will be taken against road dust, construction pollution, waste burning, illegal parking, and traffic congestion to improve air quality.

दिल्ली सरकार वायु प्रदूषण से लड़ने के लिए कमर कस रही है। जिला प्रशासनों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि वे प्रदूषण वाले हॉटस्पॉट का पता लगाएं और तीन किलोमीटर के दायरे में इसके स्रोत पहचानें। एजेंसियों को सुधारात्मक उपाय और समय-सीमाएं दी जाएंगी। सड़क और सिविल निर्माण के अधूरे काम 31 अक्टूबर तक पूरे करने होंगे। धूल, निर्माण, कूड़ा जलाने, अवैध पार्किंग और ट्रैफिक जाम पर सख्त कार्रवाई होगी ताकि हवा की गुणवत्ता सुधर सके।
