Delhi Metro Shuts 45 Stations Amid CJP Protests Till Saturday Evening

Delhi Metro has announced the closure of 45 stations from 9 PM Friday until 6 PM Saturday due to security reasons ahead of Cockroach Janta Party-led protests. Interchange facilities will be available at most affected stations, with the exception of New Delhi station. The Supreme Court had previously directed authorities to ensure metro services are not completely suspended. The situation will be reviewed by security agencies, with further updates to follow. दिल्ली मेट्रो ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के नेतृत्व वाले विरोध प्रदर्शनों के मद्देनजर सुरक्षा कारणों से शुक्रवार रात 9 बजे से शनिवार शाम 6 बजे तक 45 स्टेशनों को बंद करने की घोषणा की है। नई दिल्ली स्टेशन को छोड़कर, अधिकांश प्रभावित स्टेशनों पर इंटरचेंज की सुविधा उपलब्ध रहेगी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पहले अधिकारियों को मेट्रो सेवाओं को पूरी तरह से निलंबित न करने का निर्देश दिया था। सुरक्षा एजेंसियां स्थिति की समीक्षा करेंगी और आगे की जानकारी दी जाएगी। विरोध प्रदर्शन मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के खिलाफ CJP द्वारा आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।
