Berhampur Starts Eco-Friendly Durga Idol Immersion in Artificial Ponds

Berhampur has commenced eco-friendly immersion of Durga idols using four artificial ponds established by the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC). These designated ponds, located at Ambapua, Gosaninuagaon, Meenakhi Nagar, and near Binayak Acharya College, adhere to Odisha state pollution control board guidelines. The BeMC has ensured these sites are barricaded, illuminated, and equipped with cranes for easy idol immersion, urging organizers to use only these facilities to prevent water pollution.

बेरहमपुर में कृत्रिम तालाबों में शुरू हुई दुर्गा मूर्तियों का इको-फ्रेंडली विसर्जन

बेरहमपुर नगर निगम (BeMC) द्वारा बनाए गए चार कृत्रिम तालाबों का उपयोग करके दुर्गा मूर्तियों के इको-फ्रेंडली विसर्जन का काम शुरू हो गया है। ये तालाब अंबापुर, गोसानिनुआगांव, मीनाक्षी नगर और बिनायक आचार्य कॉलेज के पास स्थित हैं और ओडिशा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करते हैं। BeMC ने इन जगहों को बैरिकेड, रोशन और क्रेन से सुसज्जित किया है ताकि मूर्तियों का विसर्जन आसानी से हो सके। निगम ने आयोजकों से पानी को प्रदूषित होने से बचाने के लिए केवल इन्हीं सुविधाओं का उपयोग करने का आग्रह किया है।
