The India Meteorological Department has predicted the formation of two low-pressure areas in the Bay of Bengal, leading to warnings for several districts, including Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari. High winds up to 50 km/h are also expected. With schools set to reopen after holidays, there is uncertainty about whether a holiday will be declared due to the severe weather.
