Pune Man Gets Seven Years Jail For Feeding Wife Blade Pieces In Capsules

A Pune court has sentenced a 45-year-old man, Somnath Sadhu Sapkal, to seven years of rigorous imprisonment for attempting to murder his wife. He was also given three years for cruelty, with sentences running concurrently. Sapkal allegedly fed his wife capsules containing blade pieces, disguised as medicine, between October and November 2023. The wife experienced severe stomach pain and doctors later removed a blade piece from her stomach.

पुणे की एक अदालत ने 45 वर्षीय सोमनाथ साधु सापकाल को अपनी पत्नी की हत्या के प्रयास के लिए सात साल की कठोर कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। उसे क्रूरता के लिए तीन साल की सजा भी दी गई, दोनों सजाएं साथ-साथ चलेंगी। सापकाल पर आरोप है कि उसने अक्टूबर और नवंबर 2023 के बीच अपनी पत्नी को दवा के रूप में ब्लेड के टुकड़ों वाले कैप्सूल खिलाए। पत्नी को पेट में तेज दर्द हुआ और बाद में डॉक्टरों ने उसके पेट से ब्लेड का एक टुकड़ा निकाला।
