Personal Loan Sanctions Reach Rs 2.99 Trillion in Q1 FY27, Says FACE Report

Personal loan sanctions in the first quarter of FY2027 amounted to approximately Rs 2.99 trillion, with nearly 4.9 crore loans sanctioned. The Fintech Association for Consumer Empowerment (FACE) reported that digital non-banking financial companies alone sanctioned 3.4 crore loans worth Rs 64,656 crore. The total sanctioned value saw a four percent increase from the previous quarter and a significant 50 percent rise compared to the same period last year. The average ticket size across all personal loans is around Rs 19,000, influenced by a large number of smaller loan values.

FY2027 की पहली तिमाही में पर्सनल लोन की मंजूरी करीब 2.99 ट्रिलियन रुपये तक पहुंच गई, जिसमें लगभग 4.9 करोड़ लोन मंजूर किए गए। Fintech Association for Consumer Empowerment (FACE) ने बताया कि अकेले डिजिटल नॉन-बैंकिंग वित्तीय कंपनियों ने 64,656 करोड़ रुपये के 3.4 करोड़ लोन मंजूर किए। कुल मंजूर मूल्य में पिछली तिमाही की तुलना में चार प्रतिशत और पिछले साल की इसी अवधि की तुलना में 50 प्रतिशत की बड़ी वृद्धि देखी गई। छोटे लोन मूल्यों की बड़ी संख्या के कारण सभी पर्सनल लोन के लिए औसत टिकट आकार लगभग 19,000 रुपये है।
