Vedanta Plans 1,000-Bed Hospital in Odisha

Vedanta Group chairman Anil Agarwal announced plans to establish a 1,000-bed hospital in western Odisha. He met with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to discuss expediting Vedanta's proposed Rs 1 lakh crore aluminium project in the state. The investment includes a new aluminium smelter and an alumina refinery, along with a brownfield expansion of an existing smelter. These projects are expected to create over two lakh direct and indirect employment opportunities, boosting industrial growth and regional development in Odisha.

वेदांता ओडिशा में 1,000 बेड का अस्पताल खोलेगा

वेदांता ग्रुप के चेयरमैन अनिल अग्रवाल ने पश्चिमी ओडिशा में 1,000 बेड का अस्पताल बनाने की योजना की घोषणा की है। उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माझी से मुलाकात कर राज्य में वेदांता के प्रस्तावित 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये के एल्यूमीनियम प्रोजेक्ट को तेजी से पूरा करने पर चर्चा की। इन प्रोजेक्ट्स में एक नया एल्यूमीनियम स्मेल्टर और एक एल्यूमिना रिफाइनरी के साथ-साथ मौजूदा स्मेल्टर का ब्राउनफील्ड विस्तार भी शामिल है। इन प्रोजेक्ट्स से दो लाख से अधिक प्रत्यक्ष और अप्रत्यक्ष रोजगार के अवसर पैदा होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे ओडिशा में औद्योगिक विकास और क्षेत्रीय विकास को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
