Times of India · interesting
Fifteen-year-old Ranganathan S and his eleven-year-old brother Sriniketan S led a 24-member ensemble featuring 26 handpans at a Bengaluru festival. The Nadamaya Brothers, playing two handpans each, performed five songs, including Carnatic compositions and a film track, alongside other instruments. Their performance aimed to showcase the handpan as a lead instrument within the growing Indian handpan community. The brothers, considered accomplished young players, have been dedicated to the instrument since the pandemic, practicing daily and inspiring others with their musicality.
