Maurya claimed opposition parties are unable to accept the nation's progress and the rise of a leader from a humble background. He believes these tactics are solely to remain politically relevant ahead of upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh and other states.

उत्तर प्रदेश के उप मुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य ने INDIA गठबंधन की कड़ी आलोचना की है। उन्होंने उनके चल रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों को राजनीतिक नौटंकी बताया, जो गैर-मौजूद मुद्दों पर विवाद खड़ा करने के लिए की जा रही है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि जनता ऐसे कामों को खारिज कर देगी और विपक्षी गठबंधन ने जनता का भरोसा और समर्थन खो दिया है। मौर्य ने दावा किया कि विपक्षी दल देश की प्रगति और एक साधारण पृष्ठभूमि के नेता के उदय को स्वीकार नहीं कर पा रहे हैं। उनका मानना है कि ये चालें उत्तर प्रदेश और अन्य राज्यों में आगामी चुनावों से पहले राजनीतिक रूप से प्रासंगिक बने रहने के लिए हैं।
