LPU Postpones Exams Amid Violent Student Protests

Lovely Professional University in Punjab has postponed mid-term exams and suspended classes for 10 days starting September 28 due to violent student protests. The demonstrations erupted over allegations of a rape-suicide case, with students vandalizing property and clashing with police. Several police vehicles were set on fire, and some academic buildings were also torched. The university advised students to travel home or remain in hostels for safety.
