Stone quarries and crushers operating within 5 km of Assam's upcoming Tata chip plant pose a significant risk. Green activists and local organisations have raised concerns about flash floods and air pollution emanating from these operations. The Indian Semiconductor Mission has highlighted the critical need to insulate the plant from microscopic dust. This proximity threatens the plant's operational integrity and the region's environmental health.

आसाम में लगने वाले टाटा चिप प्लांट के 5 किलोमीटर के दायरे में चल रहे स्टोन क्रशर और खदानें बड़ा खतरा पैदा कर रही हैं। पर्यावरण कार्यकर्ताओं और स्थानीय लोगों ने इन कामों से आने वाली बाढ़ और वायु प्रदूषण को लेकर चिंता जताई है। इंडियन सेमीकंडक्टर मिशन ने कहा है कि प्लांट को धूल से बचाना बहुत ज़रूरी है। यह नज़दीकी प्लांट के काम और इलाके के पर्यावरण दोनों के लिए ठीक नहीं है।
