CIAL Unveils 25-Year Master Plan For Airport Development

Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) is developing a 25-year master plan to guide its expansion. Key components include a next-generation cargo village and a dedicated heliport. The plan will cover airside, terminal, cargo, landside, connectivity, utilities, commercial expansion, and sustainability. Consultancy for the plan has been awarded for ₹7.83 crore, with a ten-month deadline. An aviation demand forecast and feasibility for a second runway will also be assessed.

कोचीन इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट लिमिटेड (CIAL) अपने विस्तार के लिए 25 साल की मास्टर प्लान बना रहा है। इसमें एक नया कार्गो विलेज और हेलीपोर्ट शामिल होगा। यह प्लान एयरसाइड, टर्मिनल, कार्गो, कनेक्टिविटी, यूटिलिटीज, कमर्शियल विस्तार और सस्टेनेबिलिटी को कवर करेगा। इस प्लान के लिए ₹7.83 करोड़ में कंसल्टेंसी दी गई है, जिसे 10 महीने में पूरा करना है। दूसरे रनवे की संभावना का भी आकलन किया जाएगा।
