Delhi-NCR Wakes Up To Heavy Rain And Thunderstorms; Waterlogging Reported

Delhi and its surrounding NCR experienced heavy rain and thunderstorms on Monday morning, bringing cooler weather and causing waterlogging in areas like Karol Bagh. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms for the next two to three hours across Delhi-NCR. While the current wet spell is expected to be short-lived, with partly cloudy skies and no rain forecast for the rest of the week, the IMD had previously warned of potential traffic disruptions and water accumulation.

सोमवार सुबह दिल्ली और आसपास के एनसीआर में भारी बारिश और आंधी आई, जिससे मौसम ठंडा हो गया और करोल बाग जैसे इलाकों में जलभराव हो गया। भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने दिल्ली-एनसीआर में अगले दो से तीन घंटे तक मध्यम से भारी बारिश और आंधी की भविष्यवाणी की है। हालांकि वर्तमान बारिश का दौर अल्पकालिक रहने की उम्मीद है, और बाकी सप्ताह में आंशिक रूप से बादल छाए रहने और बारिश का कोई पूर्वानुमान नहीं है, आईएमडी ने पहले संभावित यातायात व्यवधानों और जल जमाव की चेतावनी दी थी।
