NSE IPO Becomes Fourth Mega Issue To Alter

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) IPO will now raise Rs 22,568.94 crore, making it the fourth mega IPO since FY05 to alter its issue size. The number of shares offered has been reduced by 15.09 per cent, from 148.91 million to 126.44 million. This follows similar adjustments by other large IPOs, including LIC and Reliance Power, which reduced their issue sizes. ICICI Prudential Asset Management, however, increased its offering.
