Ranchi Power Cuts For Cable Upgrade Work

Ranchi residents will face phased power cuts for the next two months as Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd (JBVNL) restarts infrastructure upgrades under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme. The project involves replacing bare low-tension wires with insulated cables, targeting around 600 transformers. Power outages, lasting two to six hours, will affect areas like Anantpur, Hinoo, and Harmu. Tree branch trimming also contributes to disruptions.

रांची में अगले दो महीनों तक बिजली कटौती का सामना करना पड़ेगा। झारखंड बिजली वितरण निगम लिमिटेड (JBVNL) 'रेवम्प्ड डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन सेक्टर स्कीम' के तहत इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का काम फिर से शुरू कर रहा है। इसमें करीब 600 ट्रांसफार्मर पर पुराने तारों को बदलकर इंसुलेटेड केबल लगाए जाएंगे। अनन्तपुर, हिनू और हरमू जैसे इलाकों में दो से छह घंटे तक बिजली जा सकती है। पेड़ों की छंटाई से भी दिक्कतें बढ़ेंगी।
