Hyderabad Sees Surge in Global Capability Centres

Hyderabad is experiencing a significant increase in global capability centres (GCCs), adding over 70 in FY25, bringing the total to more than 515. This growth has created over 300,000 jobs, with the city now accounting for about a fifth of India's GCC base. Key factors driving this expansion include a strong talent pool, cost competitiveness, and robust capabilities in sectors like life sciences and financial services.

हैदराबाद में ग्लोबल कैपेबिलिटी सेंटर्स (GCCs) की संख्या तेज़ी से बढ़ रही है। वित्त वर्ष 25 में 70 से ज़्यादा नए सेंटर खुले हैं, जिससे कुल संख्या 515 से ज़्यादा हो गई है। इससे 3 लाख से ज़्यादा लोगों को रोज़गार मिला है। शहर अब भारत के GCC बेस का लगभग पांचवां हिस्सा है। यहाँ अच्छी प्रतिभा, कम लागत और लाइफ साइंसेज व वित्तीय सेवाओं जैसे क्षेत्रों में मज़बूत क्षमताएं इस बढ़ोतरी के मुख्य कारण हैं।
