Basavana Bagewadi in Vijayapura district experienced tremors early Wednesday morning, with the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre recording a magnitude of 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was near Dindivar village, at a depth of 10 kilometers. This marks the third tremor in 13 days, following incidents on Monday and, causing panic among residents. The KSNDMC has advised against panic, stating the tremors are of low intensity and likely due to local vibrations.
