The Rupee opened stronger at 95.76 against the dollar, a significant improvement from its previous closing of 96.73. The RBI introduced a special facility for oil companies to manage their dollar needs and reduced the limit for certain foreign exchange derivative transactions.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने भारतीय रुपये को स्थिर करने के लिए सप्ताहांत में कड़े कदम उठाए हैं, जो लगातार गिर रहा था। डॉलर की मांग और सट्टेबाजी को नियंत्रित करने के उद्देश्य से की गई इन कार्रवाइयों का सकारात्मक प्रभाव दिख रहा है। रुपया पिछले 96.73 के बंद भाव से काफी सुधार करते हुए डॉलर के मुकाबले 95.76 पर मजबूत खुला। RBI ने तेल कंपनियों के लिए डॉलर की जरूरतों को पूरा करने हेतु एक विशेष सुविधा शुरू की है और कुछ विदेशी मुद्रा डेरिवेटिव लेनदेन की सीमा को कम कर दिया है।
