Mumbai Police have issued notices to at least 24 X account holders for sharing a documentary by Sabir Bhatia that allegedly contains false and disparaging claims about industrialist Gautam Adani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had previously ordered takedown directives for the documentary on platforms like YouTube and Meta. The police complaint stated that the content was objectionable, false, and misleading, causing harm to the company's reputation. The notices cite violations of X's rules and sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to defamation.

मुंबई पुलिस ने सबीर भाटिया की डॉक्यूमेंट्री साझा करने वाले कम से कम 24 एक्स (X) अकाउंट होल्डर्स को नोटिस भेजा है। आरोप है कि इस डॉक्यूमेंट्री में उद्योगपति गौतम अडानी और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के बारे में झूठे और अपमानजनक दावे किए गए हैं। सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्रालय ने पहले ही यूट्यूब और मेटा जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म पर इस डॉक्यूमेंट्री को हटाने के निर्देश दिए थे। पुलिस शिकायत में कहा गया है कि सामग्री आपत्तिजनक, झूठी और भ्रामक थी, जिससे कंपनी की प्रतिष्ठा को नुकसान पहुंचा। नोटिस में एक्स (X) के नियमों और मानहानि से संबंधित भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धाराओं का उल्लंघन बताया गया है।
