Man and Nephew Killed by Speeding Train Near Achhalda Railway Station

A man and his nephew were tragically killed after being struck by the Amrit Bharat Express near Achhalda railway station in Auraiya district on Saturday morning. The victims, identified as Raju, 30, and his maternal uncle Krishna, 40, were walking along the railway track after alighting from a train. An eyewitness reported they were heading towards a crossing when the accident occurred around 6:15 am. Police have taken the bodies for postmortem and are investigating the incident.

शनिवार सुबह औरैया जिले में अछल्दा रेलवे स्टेशन के पास अमृत भारत एक्सप्रेस की चपेट में आने से एक व्यक्ति और उसके भतीजे की दुखद मौत हो गई। मारे गए लोगों की पहचान राजू (30) और उसके मामा कृष्ण (40) के रूप में हुई है। वे ट्रेन से उतरने के बाद रेलवे ट्रैक के किनारे चल रहे थे। एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शी ने बताया कि सुबह करीब 6:15 बजे जब वे एक क्रॉसिंग की ओर जा रहे थे तभी यह हादसा हुआ। पुलिस ने शवों को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है और मामले की जांच कर रही है।
