Woman Dies As Fire Engulfs 14-Storey Building; 25 Rescued

A 65-year-old woman has died after a fire broke out on the 11th floor of the 14-storey Imperial Heritage residential building in Nalasopara East on Tuesday night. The blaze spread rapidly, causing panic among residents. Fire brigade personnel launched a rescue operation, evacuating over 25 people trapped on upper floors using ladders. A short circuit is suspected as the cause, though investigations are ongoing. Vasai MLA Sneha Dubey Pandit and VVMC commissioner Prithviraj B P visited the site.

मंगलवार रात को नालासोपारा ईस्ट की 14 मंज़िला इम्पीरियल हेरिटेज रिहायशी इमारत की 11वीं मंज़िल पर आग लगने के बाद 65 साल की एक महिला की मौत हो गई। आग तेज़ी से फैली, जिससे निवासियों में हड़कंप मच गया। फायर ब्रिगेड के जवानों ने बचाव अभियान चलाया और सीढ़ियों की मदद से ऊपरी मंज़िलों पर फंसे 25 से ज़्यादा लोगों को बाहर निकाला। शॉर्ट सर्किट को आग का कारण माना जा रहा है, हालांकि जांच जारी है। वसई MLA स्नेहा दुबे पंडित और VVMC कमिश्नर पृथ्वीराज बी पी ने घटनास्थल का दौरा किया।
