Fake Medicines Worth ₹5 Crore Found in Dry Well; 3 Arrested

Police in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district have arrested three individuals from Agra in connection with a large cache of fake medicines discovered in a dry well. The recovered medicines, valued at approximately ₹5 crore, included drugs for heart, blood pressure, and diabetes. Authorities suspect the medicines were brought from Agra to avoid action in Uttar Pradesh. Two wholesale drug dealers, Himanshu Agarwal and Ashish, are currently absconding. This discovery follows a previous seizure of a significant quantity of medicines from a farm in Agra.

राजस्थान के भरतपुर जिले में पुलिस ने आगरा से तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। इन पर एक सूखे कुएं में भारी मात्रा में नकली दवाएं छिपाने का आरोप है। जब्त की गई दवाओं की कीमत करीब ₹5 करोड़ है, जिनमें दिल, ब्लड प्रेशर और डायबिटीज की दवाएं शामिल थीं। पुलिस को शक है कि ये दवाएं उत्तर प्रदेश में कार्रवाई से बचने के लिए आगरा से लाई गई थीं। दो थोक दवा विक्रेता, हिमांशु अग्रवाल और आशीष, अभी फरार हैं। यह बरामदगी आगरा के एक फार्म से बड़ी मात्रा में दवाएं जब्त होने के बाद हुई है।
