Construction of the six-lane Palakkad-Kozhikode highway, part of the Union government's Bharatmala project, is set to commence soon. Over 95% of land acquisition for the crucial infrastructure project has been successfully completed. पलक्कड़-कोझिकोड छह-लेन हाईवे का काम जल्द शुरू होने वाला है। यह भारतमाला प्रोजेक्ट का हिस्सा है। इस ज़रूरी प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 95% से ज़्यादा ज़मीन का अधिग्रहण हो चुका है। इससे केरल के इन दो बड़े शहरों के बीच आना-जाना आसान होगा और सफर का समय भी कम लगेगा। साथ ही, व्यापार और लोगों की आवाजाही भी बढ़ेगी।
