Pune's ₹25.41-crore Kalagram cultural centre has remained largely underused for nearly two years since its inauguration on October 14, 2024. PMC plan to outsource its operations has hit a roadblock after all four bidders were found ineligible. The proposed lease of the facility has also faced opposition from elected representatives and activists who want the PMC to operate it for public benefit. The centre, envisioned as a hub for arts and traditions, has seen minimal activity, leading to concerns about its underutilization and potential commercial exploitation.

पुणे का ₹25.41 करोड़ का कलाग्राम सांस्कृतिक केंद्र, 14 अक्टूबर 2024 को उद्घाटन के बाद से लगभग दो साल से काफी हद तक कम इस्तेमाल हुआ है। पी एम सी की संचालन को आउटसोर्स करने की योजना, चारों बोलीदाताओं के अयोग्य पाए जाने के बाद अटक गई है। सुविधा के प्रस्तावित पट्टे का निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों और कार्यकर्ताओं ने भी विरोध किया है जो चाहते हैं कि पी एम सी इसे जनहित में संचालित करे। कला और परंपराओं के केंद्र के रूप में परिकल्पित इस केंद्र में न्यूनतम गतिविधि देखी गई है, जिससे इसके कम उपयोग और संभावित व्यावसायिक शोषण को लेकर चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं।
