North Korea test-fired two types of submarine-launched strategic cruise missiles on Wednesday, state media KCNA reported on Thursday. The launches reportedly pose no threat to neighbouring countries. These tests come amid heightened tensions with South Korea following a landmine explosion in the Demilitarised Zone on September 21, which injured three South Korean soldiers. The incident underscores ongoing regional security concerns.
