Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh experienced heavy rainfall for a second consecutive day on Wednesday, with Vajrapukotturu village recording the highest precipitation of 88.25 mm. This weather event is attributed to a deep depression that formed over the Bay of Bengal. Eluru and Alluri Sitarama Raju districts remain under a red alert, while several other districts face orange warnings. Educational institutions in affected areas have been closed for Thursday.

आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीकाकुलम जिले में बुधवार को लगातार दूसरे दिन भारी बारिश हुई। वज्रपुकोटूरू गांव में सबसे ज़्यादा 88.25 मिमी बारिश दर्ज की गई। यह बंगाल की खाड़ी में बने गहरे दबाव के कारण हुआ। एलुरु और अल्लूरी सीताराम राजू जिलों में रेड अलर्ट जारी है, जबकि कई अन्य जिलों में ऑरेंज अलर्ट है। प्रभावित इलाकों में गुरुवार को स्कूल-कॉलेज बंद रहेंगे।
