तमिलनाडु के अभिनेता से नेता बने विजय ने कहा कि उनकी राजनीतिक सफलता में महिलाओं का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजनीतिक आलोचना ठीक है, लेकिन महिलाओं पर अभद्र टिप्पणी बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि ऐसी गंदी भाषा बिल्कुल नहीं चलेगी और राजनीति व समाज में महिलाओं का सम्मान बहुत ज़रूरी है।
