Jamia University Security Heightened Ahead Of Left Group Protest

Security has been increased outside Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi following a protest call by Left organizations. Section 163 of the BNSS has been imposed, and a large number of security personnel have been deployed. Students have been demanding the restoration of student union elections, which have not been held for over a decade. While the university administration has taken steps towards elections and forming a committee to investigate security staff conduct, the election date remains undecided, pending approval of the student union's constitution.

लेफ्ट संगठनों द्वारा विरोध प्रदर्शन के आह्वान के बाद दिल्ली में जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया विश्वविद्यालय के बाहर सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है। बीएनएसएस की धारा 163 लागू की गई है और बड़ी संख्या में सुरक्षा कर्मियों को तैनात किया गया है। छात्र एक दशक से अधिक समय से नहीं हुए छात्र संघ चुनावों की बहाली की मांग कर रहे हैं। हालांकि विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने चुनावों और सुरक्षा कर्मचारियों के आचरण की जांच के लिए एक समिति के गठन की दिशा में कदम उठाए हैं, लेकिन छात्र संघ के संविधान की मंजूरी लंबित रहने के कारण चुनाव की तारीख तय नहीं हुई है।
