Hyderabad Doctor Loses Rs 1.21 Crore in Forex Trading Scam

A 56-year-old doctor from Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, has been defrauded of over Rs 1.21 crore in an online investment scam. The victim was lured by a Facebook advertisement featuring a fake video of a Union minister, promising high daily returns on forex trading. Believing the promises, the doctor made 51 transactions totaling Rs 1.21 crore across five investment platforms between August 11 and October 9. When he attempted to withdraw his funds, he was unable to do so, leading him to report the incident to cybercrime police.

हैदराबाद के मलकाजगिरी की रहने वाली 56 वर्षीय डॉक्टर ऑनलाइन इन्वेस्टमेंट स्कैम में 1.21 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा की ठगी का शिकार हुई हैं। पीड़ित को एक केंद्रीय मंत्री के नकली वीडियो वाले फेसबुक विज्ञापन से लुभाया गया था, जिसमें फॉरेक्स ट्रेडिंग पर भारी दैनिक रिटर्न का वादा किया गया था। वादों पर विश्वास करते हुए, डॉक्टर ने 11 अगस्त और 9 अक्टूबर के बीच पांच इन्वेस्टमेंट प्लेटफॉर्म पर कुल 1.21 करोड़ रुपये के 51 ट्रांजेक्शन किए। जब उन्होंने अपने पैसे निकालने की कोशिश की, तो वह ऐसा नहीं कर सके, जिसके बाद उन्होंने साइबर क्राइम पुलिस को इस घटना की सूचना दी।
