18 Arrested in Haiti President Assassination Case

Eighteen individuals have been arrested in connection with the 2021 assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, according to US officials. Moïse, 53, was killed on July 7, 2021, by a group of Colombian mercenaries. Federal prosecutor Jason Reding Quinones stated that 18 people were transported from Haiti to face American justice in Florida. This brings the total indicted suspects to 30.
