IndiGo will increase fuel charges on all domestic and international flights starting October 6, 2026, due to rising aviation turbine fuel (ATF) costs. Fuel charges for international routes will range from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000. For domestic flights, charges vary by distance, from Rs 375 for up to 500 km to Rs 1,300 for over 2,000 km. The airline cited volatile ATF prices, including a recent 14% monthly increase, as the reason for recalibrating charges. This move reflects the significant impact of fuel costs on airline operating expenses.
