Delhi High Court Declines Plea To Remove Scenes From Sunny Deol Film

The Delhi High Court has refused to entertain a petition seeking the removal of allegedly objectionable scenes and dialogues from the Sunny Deol-starrer Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Takk. The petitioners objected to scenes depicting corruption and violence against healthcare professionals. A bench noted that a similar petition by the medical fraternity is already pending before another judge. The court stated there was no justification for parallel proceedings on the same issue, citing the principle of avoiding multiplicity of litigation. The certification process for the film is reportedly still underway.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने सनी देओल की फिल्म 'सूर्या: अंत से आरम्भ तक' से आपत्तिजनक सीन और डायलॉग हटाने की याचिका पर सुनवाई करने से इनकार कर दिया है। याचिकाकर्ताओं ने स्वास्थ्यकर्मियों के खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार और हिंसा दर्शाने वाले दृश्यों पर आपत्ति जताई थी। कोर्ट की एक बेंच ने कहा कि मेडिकल बिरादरी की ऐसी ही एक याचिका पहले से ही एक अन्य जज के सामने लंबित है। कोर्ट ने कहा कि एक ही मुद्दे पर समानांतर कार्यवाही का कोई औचित्य नहीं है, क्योंकि इससे अदालती कार्यवाही की पुनरावृत्ति से बचा जा सकता है। बताया जा रहा है कि फिल्म के सर्टिफिकेशन की प्रक्रिया अभी चल रही है।
