CJP Activists Face SEM Court Hearing After Skipping Delhi Police Questioning

CJP activists, Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka, and Ajinkya Shinde, are scheduled to appear before a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court today. They missed a Delhi Police Crime Branch summons for questioning on Thursday regarding a Jantar Mantar protest on October 13. The activists had sought more time to join the probe. The SEM court previously ordered the release of Das and Ranka from judicial custody after they furnished personal and surety bonds and provided written undertakings to maintain peace. The inquiry into the protest circumstances continues.

सीजेपी (CJP) के कार्यकर्ता सौरव दास, आशुतोष रांका और अजिंक्य शिंदे आज एक स्पेशल एग्जीक्यूटिव मजिस्ट्रेट (SEM) कोर्ट में पेश होंगे। वे गुरुवार को जंतर मंतर पर 13 अक्टूबर को हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन के संबंध में पूछताछ के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच के समन पर हाजिर नहीं हुए थे। कार्यकर्ताओं ने जांच में शामिल होने के लिए और समय मांगा था। इससे पहले एसईएम (SEM) कोर्ट ने दास और रांका को न्यायिक हिरासत से रिहा करने का आदेश दिया था, जब उन्होंने व्यक्तिगत और जमानत बांड जमा किए थे और शांति बनाए रखने के लिए लिखित उपक्रम प्रदान किए थे। विरोध प्रदर्शन की परिस्थितियों की जांच जारी है।
