Goa's Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao urged voters to ensure political defectors lose their election deposits in 2027. He specifically targeted Saligao MLA Kedar Naik for switching from Congress to BJP after winning on a Congress ticket. Alemao criticized the government over the Porvorim flyover tragedy, where two died shortly after its inauguration, stating public money was wasted. गोवा के नेता प्रतिपक्ष यूरी आलेमाओ ने मतदाताओं से कहा कि 2027 में ऐसे नेताओं को हराएं जो दल बदलते हैं और चुनाव हार जाते हैं। उन्होंने खास तौर पर सालिगाओ विधायक केदार नाइक पर निशाना साधा, जो कांग्रेस से चुनाव जीतकर बीजेपी में चले गए। आलेमाओ ने पोर्वोरिम फ्लाईओवर हादसे पर सरकार को घेरा, जिसमें उद्घाटन के तुरंत बाद दो लोगों की जान चली गई थी। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता का पैसा बर्बाद हुआ। कांग्रेस की 'गोय रकॉन्न यात्रा' इसी मुद्दे पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है।
