Noida Elevated Road to Get Sound Barriers

Residents near Noida's elevated road, spanning from Sector-28 to Sector 61-66, will soon find relief from traffic noise. The Noida Authority is installing sound barriers along a 9.6-kilometer stretch of the 4.8-kilometer elevated road at a cost of approximately 18 crore rupees. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the impact of vehicle noise on surrounding residential areas, schools, and hospitals. The project, which has been in consideration for six years, will involve modular noise barriers designed to mitigate sound pollution.

नोएडा के सेक्टर-28 से सेक्टर 61-66 तक जाने वाली एलिवेटेड रोड के पास रहने वाले लोगों को जल्द ही ट्रैफिक के शोर से राहत मिलेगी। नोएडा अथॉरिटी 4.8 किलोमीटर लंबी एलिवेटेड रोड के 9.6 किलोमीटर लंबे हिस्से पर लगभग 18 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से साउंड बैरियर लगवा रही है। इस पहल का मकसद आसपास के रिहायशी इलाकों, स्कूलों और अस्पतालों पर गाड़ी के शोर के असर को काफी कम करना है। यह प्रोजेक्ट, जिस पर छह साल से विचार चल रहा था, इसमें साउंड पॉल्यूशन को कम करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए मॉड्यूलर नॉइज़ बैरियर लगाए जाएंगे।
