Israel Opposition Leader Calls for Netanyahu's Removal

Gadi Eisenkot, leader of the Yashar! party, urged Israelis to vote out Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the upcoming October 27 election. Eisenkot warned that the country cannot sustain another four years under the current leadership. During his final campaign rally, the former military chief vowed to establish a state commission of inquiry into the failures of October 7. He also pledged to dismantle Hamas rule in Gaza within 18 months of assuming office.

Yashar! पार्टी के नेता गादी आइज़नकोट ने इज़राइलवासियों से 27 अक्टूबर को होने वाले चुनाव में प्रधानमंत्री बेंजामिन नेतन्याहू को वोट देकर हटाने का आग्रह किया। आइज़नकोट ने चेतावनी दी कि देश अगले चार साल तक वर्तमान नेतृत्व में नहीं रह सकता। अपनी अंतिम चुनाव रैली के दौरान, पूर्व सैन्य प्रमुख ने 7 अक्टूबर की विफलताओं की जांच के लिए एक राज्य आयोग स्थापित करने का संकल्प लिया। उन्होंने पदभार संभालने के 18 महीनों के भीतर गाजा में हमास शासन को खत्म करने का भी वादा किया।
