Microsoft continues to employ deceptive tactics to steer users towards its Edge browser on Windows PCs, according to a follow-up report by the Mozilla Foundation. Researchers found that Windows Search and Widgets still open links in Edge, and the browser remains pre-pinned to the taskbar. The Copilot AI assistant also directs web links to its own side panel instead of the user's default browser.
